Paul's Tambourine

 FOREWORD    This is Paul's main instrument.  It is well balanced, has a thin, tinny sound and is totally lacking in versatility, being capable of only one sound, but it does have a good sense of rhythm.

 HISTORY   Made in Taiwan and purchased from the proceeds of the sale of its predecessor that was sold to an inebriated member of the audience at a gig a couple of years ago, who insisted on paying an outrageous sum of money.

 SPECIFICATION   Made: God knows;  Serial number: U.S.A. patent DEC. 306.606;  Handle: Soft plastic;  Body: Hard plastic;  Cymbal insets: Cheap metal;  Controls: None (a feature it shares with its owner and player).
